FreeBite gel therapy bite cushions
The patented Form of the FreeBite gel restores occlusal support all the way back to the rear molars. The elasticity of it's shell in combination with a balancing and supporting water-filling work together to stimulate the relaxation of compressed joints and chronically tight chewing muscles.
The forms "low" and "medium" have a slight wedge shape, the forms "high" and "ultrahigh" a more pronounced one, which insures that the back molars contact the FreeBite first.
The shapes of the FreeBite air and gel are identical, but the FreeBite air is softer and can therefore be chosen somewhat thicker than the FreeBite gel. During use it is important not to clench on the FreeBite, but rather play with it and open the mouth frequently wide enough to release it completely. If you find yourself persistantly clenching on your FreeBite, it is better to remove it and take a break, rather than exhaust your chewing muscles. The FreeBite is not designed to sit passively between the teeth, but to actively stimulate a therapeutic effect in releasing chewing muscles and compressed TMJs!
The FreeBite is made of medically safe thermoplastic material and is seamlessly formed. In addition to the FreeBite, the delivery includes a flat plastic storage box. The FreeBite is hygienically sealed. Exchange or return is not possible when the seal is opened for hygienic reasons.
