In the further development of our products, we always pay attention to the fact that existing customers can participate in the developments as cost-effectively as possible without having to buy everything anew. Some time ago we developed a special silicone bearing ring which is clamped between the side angles. This ring, pulled lengthwise between the bars, acts like a window. As long as one sees in it the horizontal legs of the lateral angles, one knows that one has aligned its direction of view horizontally. Now you no longer need to look at the patient from three directions, but you can also see from the front whether the posterior reference points (e.g. tagus) are in alignment with the bearing plane by simply varying the view slightly to the right and left of the center.
However, the bearing ring pulls the lateral rods out of the old guides, as they were not designed for lateral forces. The new guides now stabilize the rods laterally so that this does not happen. At the same time, there are positive effects:
-
You can no longer tilt the bars when moving them
-
They glide smoother on the milled plastic and are easier and more precise to adjust
-
The new guides do not need the blue silicone rings, nothing can get caught when the rods are inserted.
-
The new guides fit into your existing HeadLines Series 4, you can even continue to use the union sleeves!
Scope of delivery: 3 guides, 3 friction elements, 1 silicone bearing ring.
